Role

Director, Live Tour Operations

Focus

Merch strategy, forecasting, pricing, supply chain performance, on-site retail.

The Opportunity

Merchandising relied on reactive decisions, inconsistent stock flow, limited payment options, and no real forecasting which caused stockouts, missed revenue and avoidable additional costs.

What Changed

I rebuilt the entire merchandise operation into a data-informed, scalable system that improved revenue, efficiency and customer experience.

High-Impact Improvements

  • Introduced POS card payments → immediate lift in transaction volume

  • Implemented real forecasting based on sales data → eliminated guesswork and enabled intentional ordering, ensuring stock arrived on time

  • Reduced stockouts by tracking performance by venue and adjusting product mix

  • Consolidated shipments → lower costs and fewer delays

  • Secured an inventory + fulfillment partner → consistent stock flow across all tour stops

  • Aligned pricing with demand + margin targets → stronger per-show performance

Business Impact

  • More predictable revenue

  • Higher margins

  • Significantly fewer stockouts

  • Smoother touring operations with less manual effort

  • A supply chain built for scale
